Apollo sometimes took on the form of the crow. In Greek myths, he is the sister of Artemis. The crow in this artwork is abstract, but forms of wings and beak feet can still be recognised, though far removed it still has a 'Crowness'  about it. The sculpture seems to possess great mass, yet it is delicately poised on points, as if at the moment of takeoff.  The original shape starts life as a regular polygon at the beginning of building the form. The computer had its part in contributing to the displacement using an inbuilt random algorithm. Tweaking variables until a suitable shape that satisfied the vision of a crow appeared.
